Sun" for affordable Alaska Salmon fishing, on the
Kenai River. World Class Alaska King Salmon Fishing
with your Kenai River Guides. The tides from Cook
Inlet bring to the Kenai River on a daily basis the
largest King Salmon found anywhere in the world, a
record 97.4 pound Alaska King Salmon, just down
stream. Again this is very affordable Alaska King
Salmon Fishing at it's best.

tackle from G. Loomis, Shimano, and Luhr Jensen, built
for Alaska Salmon fishing. We fish with single hook
for that release, while looking for that right

Your day of
King Salmon Fishing
Client pickup is at 5:45am, we
start fishing at 6:00am, this is Alaska Salmon Fishing at it's best.
Bring your snacks, beverages, and lunches for the
day. We will fish a full fishing day, or a limit,
returning to the boat ramp. If the Kenai River King Salmon
Fishing is
good with lot's of fish, we will catch and
release a few, with your Kenai
River Guide, with first class equipment, and service
with all of the professional attention.
When we finish our day at 4:00
pm, the
fish guys will go to work on your fish, filleting, vacuum
sealing and freezing your catch, if requested.
These fish guys will
take care of your Kenai River Kings and you can watch them
process your fish. All of your fish will leave the
lodge in waxed boxes if you request, ready for the
trip home.

World Record Kenai River King Salmon
On May 17, 1985, Les Anderson of
Soldotna, AK landed the all-tackle world record king
salmon, this 97-pound, 4-ounce King from the Kenai
River. The mammoth Chinook was nearly 5 feet long
and had an amazing 37.5-inch girth! The improbable
catch took place just down river from the Riverbend
Lodge @ the Pillar's during the Kenai River early run of
